Austin Brentley is the Founder and Chief Editor of Ontario Solar News, and he is also the Communications Director for Solar Academy International. Extensive travel throughout Asia, Europe, and North America has helped him develop a deep appreciation for all things "green" and "solar," and he is excited to share this enthusiasm with as many people as possible.

Fitzgerald (Gerry) Yaw Jr is an environmental consultant living in Toronto. Gerry focuses on clean technology, especially the positive impacts of renewable energy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and our electricity bills.

A native of Ottawa Ontario, Jennifer Friis has been following the global green revolution for 10 years, focusing recently on Ontario’s unprecedented green energy initiative. She currently writes for Ontario Solar News in order to help inform the public of green initiatives occurring in the province.

Leslie Clark is a freelance writer based in the Greater Toronto Area. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, travelling, and trying to live a green lifestyle. She is happy to be a part of the Ontario Solar News writing team and hopes to one day publish a novel.

Passionate about wildlife and the environment, Matte Iles studied zoology and restoration ecology at The University of Liverpool and has worked as an ecologist in the UK. He also worked in Ecuador on a rainforest conservation expedition and for a marine research institute, before arriving in Ontario.

Richard Komorowski was born in the UK, and has lived in Canada since 1967. He is a freelance writer, specializing in energy issues, especially alternative energy and peak oil. He lives in Cornwall, Ontario, and is a regular contributor to CornwallFreeNews.com.

Ryan Hallett is a freelance writer and musician based out of Ottawa, Ontario. Thomas Coke grew up in a small town in rural Southwestern Ontario. He graduated from the University of Windsor in 2006 with a Bachelors’ in History. Thomas is passionate about the environment and looks to exude this passion in every article he writes.

Matt Lee is an American contributor based in Amsterdam. His knowledge of PV and alternative energy stems from his experience working for a major PV supplier. Beginning in a warehouse in rural Amsterdam, this company has since expanded into a multinational player in the PV world. This first-hand knowledge and international experience give Matt a unique perspective to contribute to Ontario Solar News.

Terri Kafyeke holds a BSc in Environmental Biology from McGill University and is currently pursuing a MEnv in Environmental Assessment at Concordia University. A self-proclaimed tree-hugger, Terri is greatly interested in anything sustainability-related. She loves traveling and reading, and discovered a passion for science writing during her last year at McGill.

Chris Young is the Managing Director of the Canadian operations of Enfinity, one of the world’s largest and most experienced solar photovoltaic (PV) development companies with operations in 21 countries and a portfolio of over $3 billion in projects. Chris has been active in the field of solar energy since 2006 and a member of the Enfinity executive management team since 2008 where he played a pivotal role in launching the North American operations of Enfinity and establishing Enfinity Canada Ltd.
